Step 1

Insert your cartridge and place the filter

This is the key step for preservation

Step 1 — Unscrew the Masticbox

Insert the cartridge

Place your opened cartridge of mastic, silicone or glue. Compatible with all standard nozzle cartridges.

Place the filter

Place the filter on top of the cartridge. Regenerable filter — zero obsolescence.

Screw on the valve cap and tighten it firmly.

Step 2

Pump to create a vacuum

A few pumps are enough to vacuum-seal the cartridge.

Position the pump

Place the manual pump on the cap valve. The nozzle is designed for a perfect fit.

Step 2 — Pump 3 to 4 times

Pump 3 to 4 times

Press 3 to 4 times to expel the air and create a light vacuum inside the Masticbox SADURR®.

Step 2 — Screw on the safety cap

Screw on the safety cap

Secure everything with the airtight protective cap. Your cartridge is now preserved.

Quick check before storing

Tighten the valve cap firmly and make sure the seals are still in place inside the valve cap and the safety cap.

Step 3 — Maintenance

Reactivate the filter beads

The filter contains orange beads that absorb moisture. When they turn transparent, just reactivate them — no obsolescence, no replacement.

2 methods to choose from

In the oven

Place the filter upside down on the rack of a fan-assisted oven. The beads turn orange again within a few hours.

100°C max · A few hours

In the microwave

Quicker. Place the filter upside down in the microwave. The beads are reactivated in 2 minutes maximum.

600W max · 2 minutes

Place the filter back the right way up on your cartridge. You're all set for new preservations.

Caution: let the filter cool to room temperature before handling. Do not exceed 100°C in the oven or 2 minutes in the microwave.

3. REACTIVATE THE FILTER Beads:

The filter contains orange beads, which when saturated with humidity, they need to be reactivated

Put the filter in the oven for 1 to 2 hours rotating heat max thermostat 100 degrees or in the microwave 2 minutes max 600W
