Your questions, our answers
Everything you need to know about the Masticbox SADURR® before placing your order.
How long can a cartridge be stored in the Masticbox SADURR®?
Several months, provided the usage steps are followed correctly: insert the cartridge, fit the filter, and create a vacuum with the manual pump (3 to 4 pumps).
Who is the Masticbox SADURR® for?
For anyone who uses cartridges of caulk, adhesive, or silicone: construction professionals (glaziers, masons, carpenters, tilers, plumbers, electricians), industries (automotive, aerospace, marine, marble work), and demanding home DIYers.
Can you fit any cartridge inside?
Yes, all standard cartridges with a nozzle on the market are compatible, with no adapter needed.
Two exceptions to be aware of:
- Expanding sealants (hydro-expanding), which polymerize through a base + catalyst mixture.
- Acrylic sealant, which unlike other sealants hardens by water evaporation.
For these two product types, do not create a vacuum inside the Masticbox SADURR®.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. The Masticbox SADURR® is covered by the legal warranty of conformity. Wear parts (filter, pump, caps) are also available individually in the spare parts shop.
For full details, see our terms of sale.
Where is the Masticbox SADURR® manufactured?
The Masticbox SADURR® is designed and manufactured in France. It was one of the three founding pillars of the project, alongside durability and ease of use.
How much can it really save?
On average, up to 50% savings on your consumables. A €10 caulk cartridge thrown away half-full actually costs you €20 — the Masticbox eliminates that loss.
For a tradesperson using 5 cartridges a week, that adds up to several hundred euros saved per year.
What are the delivery times and shipping costs?
Flat-rate shipping within mainland France:
- €4.90 to a pickup point
- €7.50 by Colissimo home delivery
Shipped within 24 to 48 working hours.
